Coaching for Organisations
A space to think, develop and lead with greater confidence.
People are often given new responsibilities, promoted into management or asked to navigate significant change without much space to think about how they want to approach it.
Coaching creates that space.
I work with organisations to provide individual coaching at key points in people's working lives, from stepping into management and returning after extended leave to career transition and ongoing development.
How coaching helps
Coaching isn't about giving people instructions or telling them what to do.
Instead, coaching provides a structured space that helps people:
step back from day-to-day pressures
think more openly about challenges
build confidence in their judgement and decision-making
develop their own solutions and ways forward
Coaching can help people understand themselves better, recognise what's influencing how they respond and approach situations with greater awareness and choice. Over time, this can strengthen confidence, boundaries, communication and leadership.
Because the thinking and solutions come from the individual, the learning is more likely to translate into meaningful and sustainable change.
Coaching for the moments that matter
Something else in mind?
Coaching can also be tailored around the needs of an individual, team or organisation.

Founders & Business Owners
Space to step back from the business and think about where you're taking it.
I work with founders and business owners who want time away from the day-to-day to think more clearly about their priorities, direction and what success looks like for them.
Coaching provides a confidential sounding board for decisions, challenges and opportunities, while creating space to think about your own role, what you want to focus on and where you want to go next.
From individual insight to organisational impact
Coaching starts with the individual, but its impact often shows up in how they communicate, make decisions, manage relationships and lead others.
“I trust my judgement better and find it easier to step back and look at the situation first. Coaching helped me see that what I think is an overwhelming situation is actually manageable”
What people take from coaching
“Hayley’s approach helped me find my own answers, rebuild confidence in my abilities and re-discover my self-worth. Coaching gave me practical tools to take back control and prepare for important conversations.”
“I realised my strengths and interests can be valuable in the workplace. I feel stronger in my decision-making and leadership, and I know myself a lot better.”
Working together
Organisational coaching works best when there is clarity about what the coaching is there to support, while giving the individual a confidential space to think openly.
Depending on the purpose of the coaching, we might begin with an individual conversation or a joint goal-setting conversation with the participant and their manager to agree a broad focus for the work.
Individual coaching sessions remain confidential. Where useful, I can support participants to reflect on their learning and share their own high-level outcomes with the organisation.
Clear purpose.
Confidential conversations.
Learning owned by the individual.
I'm an accredited coach with 30 years' experience working across media, entertainment, publishing and the charity sector. I've worked in organisations of very different shapes and sizes, from large global companies to independent and smaller businesses.
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than 20 years leading and developing teams, managing change and working with people in complex, creative organisations.
That means I understand the realities and pressures of organisational life, while bringing the independence, confidentiality and professional boundaries of an external coach.
My practice is grounded in ICF ethical standards, regular professional supervision and ongoing development.
